1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a ReadRipple account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Service Description
ReadRipple connects authors with real readers who choose books by interest. Readers deliver verified 5-star reviews on Amazon. Authors prepay for reader engagement; readers are compensated for their time.
3. Author Responsibilities
Authors must own the rights to books they upload. Books must be live on Amazon with a valid ASIN. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of book metadata (title, description, cover). Uploaded PDFs should be ARCs or samples intended for reader distribution.
4. Payments & Wallet
Authors fund their wallet via cryptocurrency (NOWPayments). Funds are held as prepaid credit. Readers are paid from this credit when they submit verified reviews. If a book is rejected, the prepaid amount is refunded. Wallet balances have no cash value until withdrawn.
5. Review Policy
Readers deliver verified 5-star reviews on Amazon. Attempting to manipulate reviews (creating fake accounts, using bots) will result in account suspension and forfeiture of wallet balance.
6. Amazon Compliance
ReadRipple operates as an ARC distribution service. Readers who receive a copy deliver a verified review. This model is designed to be Amazon-policy friendly. Authors are responsible for understanding Amazon's review policies.
7. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or abuse the platform. Suspended accounts cannot log in or access the dashboard.
8. Limitation of Liability
ReadRipple is provided "as is." We are not liable for lost revenue, review removals by Amazon, or service interruptions. Our liability is limited to the prepaid wallet balance held on the platform.
